How it is calculated
A meal plan saves time, money and arguments: planning the week ahead means targeted shopping and less waste. This planner spreads your favourite meals automatically and builds the grocery list from them.
How to use it
- Write down 7 to 15 meals your household likes, each with the main ingredients after a colon.
- Choose days and meals per day – the plan appears at once.
- If the spread does not suit you, press “Shuffle again” until it does.
- Save the plan as a PNG for the fridge and the grocery list as a text file for your phone.
How the grocery list is built
The tool adds up all ingredients of the planned meals. If “tomatoes” appear in three meals, the list says “tomatoes ×3”. It does not calculate quantities – the number shows in how many meals the ingredient is needed.
Tips for a good plan
- Include one leftovers meal, such as soup or a stir-fry.
- Put elaborate meals on days with more time.
- Leave one day free for spontaneous eating.
Your meals stay in your browser.
