How it is calculated
Label sheets come in countless sizes. Instead of hunting for the right template, just enter the measurements of your sheet – they are usually printed on the pack or easy to measure with a ruler. The defaults describe a Letter sheet with 30 labels of 1 × 2 5/8 in – measure your own sheet and adjust.
How it works
- Enter columns, rows and the width and height of one label.
- Measure the top and left margin and the gaps between labels. “Leftover margin” shows whether everything fits.
- Paste your text with a blank line between labels. For partly used sheets set the start number.
- Create the PDF, print a test on plain paper with outlines and hold it against the sheet, then print on the labels.
How it is calculated
Label k in column s and row z sits at x = left margin + s · (width + horizontal gap), y = top margin + z · (height + vertical gap). The leftover margin on the right is sheet width − left margin − columns · width − (columns − 1) · gap; the bottom works the same way. Inches are converted with 1 in = 25.4 mm exactly (NIST SP 811). If a line is too wide, the font shrinks to fit.
Honest limits
Many printers place the print slightly off and hardly any print borderless, so text very close to the sheet edge may be cut. Always do a test print on plain paper first. Images, barcodes and mail-merge spreadsheets are not supported. Emoji and Asian scripts cannot be printed.

Your text is processed only in your browser and is not stored anywhere – not even in browser storage.

Where do I find the measurements of my label sheet?
Usually on the pack (label size, labels per sheet). Measure margins and gaps with a ruler from the edge of the sheet to the first label.
How do I print on a partly used sheet?
Enter the first free position under “Start at label no.”, counted row by row from the top left.
Can I print the same label many times?
Yes, tick “Repeat the first text on all labels” and the first text fills the whole sheet.
Why is the print slightly offset?
Printers have tolerances. Do a test print with outlines and adjust the top and left margin by the offset you measure.
Are my addresses uploaded?
No. The PDF is created in your browser; your text is neither sent nor saved.
