Organize PDF pages

Organize PDF pages the way you would on a desk: drop in the file, drag pages by the handle ⠿ to the right spot (or move them with ← →) and save. Rotate, delete and add more PDFs too – all in your browser; your files are never uploaded.

      How it is calculated

A page slipped during scanning, the appendix belongs at the front, the back sides are in the wrong order: this tool puts PDF pages in the right sequence and saves the file again. Every page appears as a thumbnail that you drag into place like a card.

      How it works

      1. Drop in or choose a PDF. You can add more PDFs at any time; their pages are appended and labelled A, B, C.
      2. Drag pages by the handle ⠿ to their new spot – with a mouse or your finger. Without dragging, use ← and →, or the arrow keys while the handle has focus.
      3. Rotate with ↻, delete with ✕ (↩ brings a page back).
      4. Click “Save” and download the new PDF.

      What happens when you save

The order of a PDF lives in the file’s page tree (ISO 32000-1, section 7.7.3). The tool only rearranges this tree and sets the “Rotate” entry for rotated pages. Text, images, links and form fields stay untouched and in full quality; the title and metadata of the first PDF are kept.

      Honest limits

Password-protected PDFs cannot be edited. Digital signatures become invalid with any change. Bookmarks keep pointing to their page even if it now sits elsewhere; bookmarks to deleted pages lead nowhere. The preview shows up to 200 pages.

Only want to remove pages? That is clearer with Delete pages from PDF. To combine PDFs without rearranging, use Merge PDF; to save single pages as separate files, Split PDF.

      Frequently asked questions

How do I organize PDF pages for free?

Drop your PDF in here, drag pages by the handle ⠿ to where you want them and click “Save”. Free, no sign-up, no watermark.

How do I rearrange PDF pages on iPhone or Android?

The same way in your browser: drag a page by the handle ⠿ with your finger or move it with the ← → buttons. No app needed.

Can I reorder and delete pages at the same time?

Yes. Mark pages for deletion with ✕ and drag the rest into order. Both are saved in one step.

How do I change the page order without Adobe Acrobat?

With this tool in your browser: it rearranges the PDF’s page tree without any loss of quality. On a Mac, the Preview app can also do it via the sidebar.

How do I fix the page order of a one-sided duplex scan?

Scan all fronts, flip the stack, scan the backs, all into one PDF. Then click “Merge double-sided scan” – 1, 3, 5, 6, 4, 2 becomes 1 to 6.

      Are my PDFs uploaded?

No. Rearranging and saving happen entirely in your browser; your files stay on your device.
