How it is calculated

Converting HTML to PDF means setting the text of a web page or HTML document into a fixed file that opens and prints the same everywhere. This tool reads HTML code or an .html file in your browser, recognises headings, paragraphs, lists, tables and links and lays them out on pages itself. There is no upload, no sign-up and no watermark.

How it works

  1. Drop an HTML file here or choose one – or paste the code into the text box.
  2. Pick the page size (A4 or US Letter), orientation and margin.
  3. Click “Convert to PDF”, check the preview of the first page and download the PDF.

What is kept – and what is not

Limits

This suits texts, documentation, invoice and report HTML, e-mail text and exports. For a fully designed web page with images and layout, use “Print → Save as PDF” (Ctrl + P) in your browser.

Privacy

The file and the code never leave your device. Only the PDF library (pdf-lib, MIT licence) is loaded from this server. Next steps: format HTML, Word to PDF or merge PDF files.

Frequently asked questions

How can I convert HTML to PDF for free?

Drop the HTML file here or paste the code, choose the page size and click “Convert to PDF”. You download the PDF straight away – no account and no watermark.

Can I convert HTML to PDF without uploading anything?

Yes. Everything runs in your browser; neither the file nor the code is sent to a server.

Are colours, fonts and images kept?

No. The tool takes over the structure (headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, links) but no CSS and no images. For fully designed pages, “Print → Save as PDF” in the browser is better.

Can I enter a web address?

No. The tool does not fetch web pages. Save the page as an HTML file or copy the source code.

Do links stay clickable in the PDF?

Yes, links with http, https and mailto stay clickable and are underlined in blue.

Does it work with HTML invoice text?

Yes, as long as it consists of text, tables and lists. Logos and background colours are missing because images and CSS are not taken over.
