Fill out a PDF form
To fill out a PDF form you need no program and no account here: open the PDF, type into the fields (or, for forms without fields, place text and an image anywhere on the page) and save it as a new PDF. Everything runs in your browser; the form is not uploaded.

How it is calculated
Fill out a PDF form and save it
Many forms from authorities, insurers and clubs come as a PDF. This tool opens the PDF directly in your browser, shows fillable fields as input fields and saves the result as a new file. The original stays unchanged.
How it works
- Drop or choose the PDF. The first page appears as a preview; flip pages with ‹ ›.
- If the PDF has real form fields, they appear below the preview: fill in fields, tick boxes, choose from lists.
- If it has no fields, choose the “Text” tool, tap the spot and type. Size and colour can be set.
- With “Image” you can place a stamp or your signature as a picture; with “Select” you move and resize it.
- Click “Save filled-in PDF”. If you do not want the form to be changed any more, tick “Flatten form”.
With and without form fields
- Fillable forms contain fields you can click and fill in directly. The tool detects them automatically.
- Non-fillable forms (scanned or exported from Word) only have lines and boxes. Here you place text on top with the Text tool.
Honest limits
- Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened; digital signatures become invalid after any change.
- Inserted text uses Helvetica or Noto Sans (Latin, Greek, Cyrillic). Text in other scripts is inserted as an image.
- The tool does not replace a legally binding signature; for placing your signature see “Sign PDF”.
Privacy
The PDF stays on your device, there is no upload and nothing is stored. For applications with personal data this is an advantage over services that send files to a server.
Frequently asked questions
How can I fill out a PDF form?
Open the PDF, fill in the fields below the preview and click “Save filled-in PDF”. If the form has no fields, write directly on the page with the Text tool.
What if nothing in the PDF can be clicked?
Then the form has no real fields. Choose the “Text” tool, tap the line or box and type there. An “X” for a checkbox works the same way.
Can I save the filled-in form?
Yes, as a new PDF document. With “Flatten form” the fields become fixed content and can no longer be changed.
Can I add a signature?
You can place a signature as an image. “Sign PDF” offers its own drawing area.
Is my form uploaded?
No. The PDF is opened, edited and saved as a new file in your browser. It never leaves your device.
