Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving Day is the fourth Thursday in November under federal law (5 U.S.C. § 6103), so Black Friday always falls between November 23 and 29. In 2026 Thanksgiving is on November 26, which makes Black Friday November 27. Cyber Monday, the online shopping day, follows three days later.
