How it is calculated
A timesheet records start, end, break and hours worked for each working day and adds them up to a monthly total. Here it is generated automatically for any month and year – prefilled or blank.
How it is calculated
For each working day: working time = end − start − break. The monthly total is that daily time multiplied by the number of working days. You choose which weekdays count: Monday to Friday, Monday to Saturday or every day. Dates and weekdays follow the calendar of the chosen month, leap years included.
Using the sheet
- Prefilled: enter start, end and break once and everything else fills itself in.
- Blank: you get the rows with date and weekday and write the times in by hand.
- Not included: public holidays, vacation and sick days; they differ by region, so cross them out by hand.

Frequently asked questions
How do I create a timesheet?
Choose month and year, enter start, end and break, and set the working days. The timesheet lists every day with its hours and shows the monthly total.
Can I get a blank timesheet to print?
Yes. Choose “Blank to fill in by hand”. You get every day of the month with date and weekday, and print the page with your browser.
How do I convert hours and minutes to decimal hours?
Divide the minutes by 60: 7:30 hours is 7.5 hours. The calculator also shows the monthly total in decimal hours, useful for payroll.
Are public holidays taken into account?
No. Holidays differ by country and region; cross those days and vacation days out by hand or subtract their hours from the monthly total.
Is my data stored anywhere?
No. The timesheet is calculated in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Your last inputs are only remembered on your own device.
