    How it is calculated

In short: five social media templates – quote, event poster, sale, job ad and birthday – turn into a finished post in five formats: square 1:1, Instagram post 4:5 (1440 × 1800), Story and Reel 9:16 (1440 × 2560), Facebook link (1200 × 630) and LinkedIn (1200 × 628). One click gives you all five sizes as a ZIP.

    How it works

    1. Tap a template. Each one comes with sample text, a sample photo and a matching color scheme.
    2. Replace the text – kicker, headline, subtitle, details (one item per line) and footer. Long text wraps and shrinks automatically, so nothing runs off the edge.
    3. Optionally drag in your own photo or paste it with Ctrl + V, adjust the crop with “Move image crop”, and change colors and fonts to taste.
    4. “Save image” as PNG or JPG – or “All 5 formats as ZIP” for feed, Story, Facebook and LinkedIn in one go.

    Which size for which platform?

Meta now recommends the portrait format 4:5 at 1440 × 1800 pixels for Instagram and Facebook feeds and 9:16 at 1440 × 2560 for Stories. For Facebook link previews, Meta asks for at least 1200 × 630 (1.91:1); LinkedIn recommends 1200 × 628 or square for single images. Portrait takes up the most space in the feed. In Stories, Meta advises keeping about 14% at the top free of text because the profile name sits there; the templates keep 14% at the top and 20% at the bottom clear for the reply bar.

    Design that stays readable

Every color scheme reaches a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for text and accent color under WCAG – checked in a test, not eyeballed. On photos, a semi-transparent panel or gradient keeps text legible even on busy images. The fonts (Anton, Bebas Neue, Bangers, DM Serif Display, Pacifico, Caveat) are licensed under the SIL Open Font License and can be used for commercial posts too.

    Honest limits

The templates are deliberately simple: no free dragging of single elements, no stickers. For free-form layouts, use add text to photo. Japanese characters are rendered in a system font.

    Privacy

Everything is calculated in your browser; photos are never uploaded. Only the template, texts and settings are remembered (never the photo). The sample photos were generated locally for this page.

Also useful: the Instagram grid maker (grid and panorama) and the pop art photo maker for eye-catching portraits.

    Frequently asked questions

Where can I find free social media templates?

Right here: five templates for quote, event, sale, job ad and birthday, fully editable, with no sign-up and no watermark. You may use the results commercially.

What size is an Instagram post?

The recommended size today is portrait 4:5 at 1440 × 1800 pixels; square (1:1) still works. Stories and Reels use 9:16, for example 1440 × 2560 pixels.

How do I make an Instagram post with text?

Pick a template, type the headline and details, add your own photo if you like and click “Save image”. Upload the PNG to Instagram like any other photo.

Can I use the same graphic for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn?

Yes – “All 5 formats as ZIP” creates the post in every size at once. The text is rearranged for each format, not simply cropped.

What is the safe zone in Instagram Stories?

The strip at the top (profile name) and at the bottom (reply bar) is covered by the app. Meta suggests keeping about 14% at the top free of text; the Story format here keeps text out of the top 14% and bottom 20%.

Can I use the fonts commercially?

Yes. All fonts are under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which explicitly allows use in graphics, including commercial ones.
