How it is calculated

A hundreds chart lays out the numbers to 100 in ten rows of ten, so place value becomes visible: moving down adds 10, moving right adds 1. It is a staple of kindergarten through second grade.

Four sheets

Layout

Every other row is lightly shaded and the line after the fifth row and column is heavier to help students find their place. Besides 1–100 there is 0–99, the 120 chart used in many US classrooms, and a thousands chart counting by tens.

Frequently asked questions

Can I print a blank hundreds chart?

Yes, choose “Blank chart”. A completed chart can follow as the answer key.

Is there a 120 chart?

Yes. Under “Numbers” choose 1 to 120 – twelve rows of ten, as used in many first-grade classrooms.

What is the 100-square math drill?

A grid with ten numbers on top and ten on the left. Each square holds the sum, difference or product of its row and column number – 100 facts on one page. For subtraction the left numbers are 10 to 19.

How many numbers are missing?

As many as you set under “Share of missing numbers”, from 10 to 90 %. Every page gets different blanks.
