PDF – up to 200 MB, no upload

Your files are processed only in your browser and never uploaded – they don’t leave your device.

Every page is placed on the slide as an image. Layout, fonts and graphics stay exactly as they are, but the text in the image cannot be edited; the page text is attached to the image as alt text.

How it is calculated

Converting PDF to PowerPoint means putting each page of a PDF on its own slide so you can use it in a presentation, shorten it or add to it. This tool draws the pages in your browser and writes a PPTX file (Office Open XML, ECMA-376). There is no upload, no sign-up and no watermark.

How it works

  1. Drop the PDF here or choose it.
  2. Choose whether each slide should contain the page image (exact look) or editable text boxes (text can be changed).
  3. Click “Convert to PowerPoint”, check the preview and download the PPTX file.

Two ways – and their limits

Limits

A PDF is a page format, not a presentation: bullet structures, slide layouts and animations do not exist in it and cannot be recovered.

Privacy

The PDF never leaves your device. Only the PDF engine pdf.js (Apache-2.0) and the PPTX writer are loaded from this server. Next steps: PDF to JPG, PDF to DOCX or split a PDF.

Frequently asked questions

How can I convert PDF to PowerPoint for free?

Drop the PDF here, choose “Page image” or “Editable text” and click “Convert to PowerPoint”. You download the PPTX file straight away – no account.

Is the PDF turned into an editable PowerPoint file?

If you want, yes: in “Editable text” mode each line becomes a text box, but images and graphics are missing. In “Page image” mode the slide looks exactly like the page, but the text cannot be changed.

Can I convert PDF to PowerPoint without uploading the file?

Yes. The conversion runs entirely in your browser and the PDF is not sent to a server.

Are layout and images kept?

In “Page image” mode, completely. In “Editable text” mode only the text with its position stays; images, lines and the original font are missing.

How big are the slides?

As big as the first PDF page, so an upright A4 page gives 21 × 29.7 cm. Landscape PDFs give slides close to 16:9; further pages are centred.

Does it work with scanned PDFs?

Yes, as a page image. The text of a scan cannot be edited; recognise it first with “PDF to DOCX” (with OCR).
