How it is calculated

A good email signature gives your name, role, company and two or three ways to reach you – nothing more. The generator builds it from your details and shows right away how it looks.

How to use it

Why tables and inline styles?

Mail programs render HTML far more narrowly than browsers. Tables and styles set directly on elements work reliably, while classes from stylesheets are often dropped. That is why the tool produces exactly this simple structure, without images or fonts that would have to be downloaded. Your input is neither stored nor uploaded.

More tools for office work: write a cover letter, design a business card, count characters and create a resume.

Frequently asked questions

How do I create an email signature?

Enter your name and contact details, choose style, color and font, and click “Copy signature”. Then paste it into the signature box of your mail program.

What should an email signature include?

Name, job title, company, phone number, email address and website. Businesses may need extra legal details depending on country and company type; check those yourself, the tool does not add them.

Why does my signature look different in my mail program?

Mail programs support only part of HTML and CSS. The tool therefore uses tables and inline styles; small differences in font and spacing are still possible.

Can I add a logo?

This tool deliberately creates a signature without an image so it displays everywhere and nothing has to be uploaded. You can add a logo in your mail program itself.

Is my data stored?

No. The signature is built in your browser; name, address and phone number are neither uploaded nor stored. Only style, color and font are remembered.
