How it is calculated
A whiteboard is for explaining, planning and thinking: a sketch on a digital board, a flow chart in a meeting, a maths problem on the projector. This whiteboard runs in your browser without an account and remembers your board locally.
How it works
- Pick a tool: pen, rectangle, ellipse, line, arrow, text or eraser. Hold Shift to turn rectangles and ellipses into squares and circles.
- Pan with the “Pan” tool, with two fingers or while holding Space; zoom with Ctrl + mouse wheel, a pinch gesture or the −/+ buttons.
- Text: choose “Text”, tap the board, type, press Enter.
- “Show all” fits the view to all content; “Full screen” fills the screen or projector.
- Save as PNG or SVG – the export always includes all content, not just the visible part.
How it works technically
Strokes, shapes and text are stored as objects in world coordinates; panning and zooming only change the view (zoom 10 % to 800 %). The eraser removes whole objects it touches. Strokes are smoothed with quadratic Bézier curves, and the SVG export uses the same paths. After every change the board is saved to the browser’s local storage.
Honest limits
The whiteboard is local: other people do not see your board live – export an image to share it. There are no layers, no moving of single objects and no image import. Storage lives in this browser; in private mode or after clearing site data the board is gone.
Privacy
Nothing is uploaded. The board is stored only in your browser’s local storage under “whiteboard:v1”.

Can several people work on it at once?
No, it is deliberately local. Share the result as PNG or SVG, or show it full screen on a projector.

Yes, automatically in your browser’s storage. It is back on your next visit – as long as you do not clear the site data.
