21 questions game: questions to ask
The 21 questions game is simple: one person asks, the other answers honestly – 21 times, then you swap. This wheel picks the questions for you. Each ready-made set has exactly 21 questions: getting to know someone, couples, friends and deep questions. Tick “remove” and one set lasts exactly one round.

How it is calculated
In the 21 questions game one player asks 21 questions in a row, the other answers honestly – then the roles swap. The wheel draws the questions; in a set of 21 each question comes up first with a probability of 1 in 21, about 4.76%.
How to play 21 questions with the wheel
- Choose a set and tick “Remove the winning entry from the wheel”.
- Press Spin the wheel and ask the question that comes up.
- The other player answers. A short follow-up is allowed – it does not count as a new question.
- After 21 spins the wheel is empty: swap roles, press “Put drawn entries back” and play the round again.
Some players allow one “pass” per round. Agree on it before you start – it makes the game relaxed for everyone.
The four ready-made sets
| Set | Example | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Get to know | “What did you want to be as a kid?” | new friends, first dates, roommates, pen pals |
| Couples | “What did you first notice about me?” | date nights, anniversaries, long-distance calls |
| Friends | “What is the most spontaneous thing you have ever done?” | sleepovers, road trips, birthdays |
| Deep | “What is a lesson you learned the hard way?” | close friends, late talks, couples who know each other well |
With “All (84)” each question has a probability of 1 in 84, about 1.19%; four players can then play one round each.
21 questions to ask a guy or a girl
Good questions do not depend on who you ask. The “Get to know” set works for anyone you would like to know better; “Couples” is for people who are already together. All questions are friendly and nothing explicit – you can play them in a café, on a video call or at the dinner table.

Frequently asked questions
How do you play 21 questions?
One player asks 21 questions, the other answers each one honestly. Then you swap roles. Follow-ups are allowed but do not count.
Why exactly 21 questions per set?
So that one set equals one round. With “Remove the winning entry from the wheel” ticked, the wheel is empty after the 21st question.
What are good 21 questions to ask someone you just met?
Easy, open questions about their background, favorites and dreams – the “Get to know” set has 21 of them, from “Where did you grow up?” to “What is your hidden talent?”.
Are there 21 questions for couples?
Yes. The “Couples” set asks about first impressions, shared memories and future plans.
Can I skip a question?
Agree on one pass per round before you start. On the wheel, simply spin again.
Is this page about the song “21 Questions”?
No. It is only about the question game and has no lyrics.
Can I add my own questions?
Yes. Type them in the text box, one per line. 21 lines make one round.
Can we play over text or video call?
Yes. Spin, then send the question in the chat or read it out; “Share this wheel” gives both players the same list.
